Includes No. 2 (Brook Cottage) Schofield Hall Road. 5
houses. Hammer-dressed watershot stone with graduated stone
slate roof. Single and double-depth range with a total of 5
bays and 3 storeys. Bays 2, 3 and 4 each have a door with
dressed surround to right and 3 or 5-light recessed flat-
faced stone mullion windows with king mullions on each
floor. Several mullions have been removed and 2 windows
enlarged. Bay 6 is of a later date, is set back and has a
window on each floor with square-cut surround and C20
casement. Bay 1 is of a slightly earlier date, is set back,
and has a segmental-arched cart entry on the ground floor,
3, 5 and 5-light windows (as above) and is entered at first
floor level through a small rear wing. Small outshut and
similar fenestration to rear. Ridge chimney stacks.
