Public house. Late C18. Hammer-dressed stone with graduated
stone slate roof. Double-depth plan with 3 bays and 3
storeys. Central door has ovolo-moulded surround and is
flanked on either side by 3-light flat-faced stone mullion
windowsof C19 date. The first and second floors each have
two 5-light and a central 2-light recessed flat-faced stone
mullion window. Shaped eaves gutter brackets and quoins.
Gable stacks. Blocked windows and taking-in door to gable.
Rear has similar windows but is partly obscured by a C20
flat-roofed brick extension.
