Terraced houses. c.1810-20, as part of J.T. Parkinson's Montagu Square
Portman Estate development. Stock brick with stuccoed ground floor;
concealed slate roofs. 4 storeys and basement. 2-window wide fronts.
Segmental arched doorways to left of No. 7 and to right of Nos. 9 and 11;
panelled doors in panelled jambs and fanlights. Ground floor windows
segmental arched with key blocks. Recessed sashes, under flat gauged
arches to upper floors. Stuccowork finished off with plat band at 1st
floor level. Crowning stucco cornice and blocking course. Continuous,
cast iron curved loop patterned balconies to 1st floor. Cast iron area
railings with urn finials.
