Terraced town house. c.1810-11, associated with J.T. Parkinson's Bryanston
Square and Montagu Square development for the Portman Estate. Stock brick
with channelled stucco ground floor; concealed slate roof. 5 storeys and
basement. 3 windows wide. Semicircular arched doorway to right with inset
Greek Doric columns carrying entablature doorhead and delicately patterned
fanlight over (door altered). Recessed sashes, apart from marginal glazed
French casements to 1st floor, under flat gauged red brick arches. Plat
band finishing off ground floor stuccowork and sill band to 4th floor;
crowning cornice and blocking course. Simple bowed wrought iron
balconettes to 1st floor. Cast iron area railings with urn finials.
