Lodge, former cottage. C17 altered and restored. Rubble with Cotswold
stone roof, rubble chimney to east gable. 1 storey and roof-lit attic.
Blocked door to west gable. Ledged door and small flanking windows to
north, timber lintels. Interior said to retain newel stair.
Linked by dry-stone wall to gate-piers with taller rubble gateway
incorporating lintel inscribed "caret invidenda sobrius aula".
