Three pairs, 2nd quarter of C19. Multicoloured stock brick with stuccoed
fronts. Moderately low pitched, slated roof pedimented gable over centre
block. Each house 2 storeys , attic and basement, 1 window in centre block,
one in set back entrance section with cornice and blocking course. 2 pilasters
on axis and one at outer angle of centre block support cornice band. Moulded
architraves to sash windows with glazing bars. Triple round arched windows
in pediment, the middle one blank (except for Nos 30 and 32 attic windows
altered to square). Console bracketed cornices to ground floor windows.
Front of Nos 30 and 32 pebbledashed. Nos 22-28 have tetrastyle porches
with inner Ionic and outer square Doric columns. 4-panel doors with plain
rectangular fanlights. Nos 30 and 32 have no porches but doors are flanked
by paired pilasters.
