House, with steps and railings to front door. Circa 1800. Brick, repointed
C20, on plastered stone plinth with brick quoins. Slate roof, brick gable
copings, brick chimney between left bays. 2 storeys, attic and cellar; 3 bays.
3-light barred wooden casements, those to ground floor left with segmental heads
and lights renewed in hardwood. Right bay has C19 shop window with bowed wooden
oriel of 4 x 3 lights and plain frieze. To left of this window is a 4-panelled
door with segemental head, approached by a double flight of C19 brick steps with
stone treads. Steps have C19 iron railings with fleur-de-lys and sword-handle
finials. Cellar opening to left, attic casements in gables. Rear has lean-to
and later 2-storey wing, formerly a bakery but with ovens removed.
