6/45 The Reindeer

G.V. II

Public House. C17 with C19 alterations and additions of C20.
Rendered red brick with pantile roof and single axial brick ridge
stack. Lobby entry plan. 2 storey 3 bay front with plinth,
central gabled porch with 4 panelled door and small side lights,
with to left a single glazing bar sash and to right a larger
fixed glazing bar light. To first floor to eaves are 2 glazing
bar sashes. To right of front is a C20 single storey extension.
Interior of right hand room retains large moulded principal beam
with shield stepped stops and facetted and stopped joists.
Fireplace bressummer is retained but cased in.
