GV II

Cottage. C18. Rendered and colourwashed timber frame with thatch roof and brick central ridge stack. 2-unit plan, probably originally lobby entry. 2-light window to left, 3-light window to right and plank door beyond. 3-light leaded casement over in eyebrow dormer. Garage extension one left end and attic windows in gables. INTERIOR. Tall-panel framing with braces and heavier wall posts. Bridging beams and joists. Open fireplace with bressumer and hood with small stair behind stack which divides. Original roof rafters visible to collar level. Plank doors.
A little-altered cottage of the period which forms a group with Church of St. Nicholas (qv).
