Water Mill Farm

Watermill. Late C18. Red brick with slate roof. 3 storey 2 bay
structure with 2 segmental headed openings to each storey. The
planked door with segmental head is in the end wall. Four iron
ties with circular plates tie the side walls, one is dated 1854.
The weir survives beside the mill, but the mill race is filled in
and all gear has been removed. Scar of lean to wheel house on
river side of building can be seen.
