Former school, now house; 1838. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar
dressings; slate roof with stone coped dutch gables with brick ridge
stack. T-plan. Single storey with garrets having plinth and first floor
band. Four bay street frontage with rusticated quoins; off centre
recessed door flanked by pilasters supporting basket arch with moulded
cornice over. To left are two plain mullioned two light windows with iron
casements; to the right at a higher level a single similar two light
window. All windows have moulded cornices. In the gable end to the east
is a further similar door over which is a stone inscribed GHP 1838.
