A Grade II Listed Building in Syston, Lincolnshire

Churchyard Wall, Syston

Uploader's Comments

Wall, early C19; coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings. Wall crosses churchyard from north to south and is open at the centre to frame the vista of the church from the Park to the east, where there is a house on the opposite side of a lake. Screening trees on the A607 now block the view. The monument is to George Henry Thorold. (Photo Mar 2014).
