5/133 Tyler's Farmhouse
G.V. II
Farmhouse. Early C17, with early C19 addition and minor
alterations. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and
dressings, steeply pitched concrete tiled roof and 2 red brick
gable stacks with stone bases. 2 storey with garret, 3 bay front
having central half glazed door covered by gabled wooden porch,
flanked by single 3 light windows. To first floor are 2 similar
smaller windows. All windows have moulded stone surrounds and
the original mullions have been replaced in wood. To the right a
single bay, 2 storey early C19 addition has a single red brick
gable stack. There is a central 3 light glazing bar window with
ashlar lintel and 2 similar 2 light windows to eaves. To the
rear are 2 two light chamfer mullioned windows and 2 single
lights with chamfered surrounds, one blocked.
