Cold Overton (west side) 11/107 Pigeoncote at Court Farmhouse and adjoining mounting block II

Pigeoncote and mounting block, now an agricultural store. Late C18. Coursed and squared ironstone with ashlar dressings and plain tile roof. 2 storeys, octagonal plan. South east side has a Gothic arched doorway with plank door. Above it, a smaller Gothic arched door reached by a wooden step ladder. East side has a small Gothic window. North side has a similar window, blocked. Above, octagonal roof with the remains of a wooden glover. Interior is said to contain stone nest boxes. To south, an adjoining double sided 3 step mounting block.
