One of the Church spires in the Wreake Valley flood plain that can be seen from miles away. Screening windbreaks of trees may slow the erosion of the ironstone masonry by the prevailing West wind. The Church of St James at Kirby Bellars on the other side of the Wreake also shows signs of erosion. (Photo Apr 2007).
