North aspect. The church was built 1874-77 by Goddard and Paget. Mountsorrel granite rubble with Bath stone dressings, tiled roofs with ornamental ridges. Cruciform plan with nave, central tower, transepts and a very short chancel. North east vestry added 1923, projecting from tower. The style is late C12 - early C13 at the end of Early English Gothic, with plate tracery, and wide lancets. Entrance is via the north porch, behind the end two plane trees. (Photo Apr 2008).
