Parish church. With architecture of C11 Norman, C13 Early English, C14 Decorated and C15 Perpendicular Gothic. Restored 1907 by H. Cayley and in 1909 by J. F. J. Goodacre. Random granite rubble, quartzite cobbles from the local flood plain, and dressed stone with ashlar dressings. South east aspect. C14 west tower with diagonal and side buttresses, parapet with battlements. Recessed octagonal spire of sandstone with two sets of 4 lucarnes on altenate faces, all with crocketed gables.
