Early C19 public house, perhaps, though probably not a coaching inn. Red brick with eaves cornice and slate roof. Facade painted. 2 storeys. 2 bays of windows, sashes with boxed frames and those of 1st floor with cambered head linings. Ground floor has 2 canted bay windows and centre door with pilasters under solid fanlight, flat cornice overall. Additional eastern side door. (Photo Apr 2014).
