SK 30 NE SHACKERSTONE HEATHER ROAD, Odstone

2/82 Tivey's Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Mid-C18 with later C18 and C19 extensions. Red brick with
plain tile roof and brick ridge stack and end stack. L-shaped plan
with principal range aligned north-east/south-west facing north-west
and rear wing to the north-east. This building was extended to the
north-east in the C18, and to the south-west in the C19. 2 storeys
with first floor band and dentilled eaves band, and attic in gable to
left of centre. The original house had a regular 3-bay front with the
gable of the rear wing to the left. 3-light glazing bar casements with
segmental heads, the central window is blind and narrower than the
outer ones. C19 sashes to ground floor. Central half-glazed door with
bracketed hood. Single bay extensions to the left and right, the
former is C18, the latter C19.
