House. C18 with front c1800. Fine front of ashlar with plinth, sill bands,
parapet and hipped Welsh slate roof with moulded stone end stacks. Rest of
coursed rubble stone with quoins and further brick stacks. 3 storeys of 5 sash
windows 3/3 on 2nd floor, otherwise 6/6, in stone frames. Section in centre
projects slightly and has 6-panelled door with fanlight (curved intersecting
glazing bars) within stone doorcase with broken pediment supported on brackets.
Over this a round-arched window the upper part of whose sash has similar curved
glazing bars to fanlight below. Over the 3/3 2nd floor sash this section has
a pediment at cornice level. Behind pediment a small dormer. On both ends at
1st floor level a 1-light stone framed window blocked on left end. Formerly
the Rectory. Interior not seen 1983.
