- at Worden Hall

GV II

Brew house (probably for brewing of animal feed), probably C18. Brick
with stone dressings, slate roof with one chimney on ridge and another
at left gable. Rectangular plan of 4 bays. Two storeys. Stone quoins;
south side has 4 ground floor doorways with stone lintels, 3 window
openings on each floor, all with wooden louvre shutters; loft doors at
first floor of both gables, that at the left end approached by external
steps. Interior: wooden spiral staircase with separate newels at ground
at 1st floor; kingpost roof with fishbone struts; some original machinery
including hopper on 1st floor.
