War Memorial, c.1920. Ashlar with bronze statues. High square-
plan plinth carrying 2 large bronze statues; an infantryman in
battle uniform, standing easily with his hands on the muzzle of a
rifle; and a draped female figure with one arm resting on his
shoulders, the other pointing to the front.
