barn adjoining to west

GV II

House, late C18th. Squared watershot sandstone with stone slate roof.
2 storeys, 2 bays. Windows sashed with glazing bars and plain stone
surrounds. The door, between the bays, has a plain stone surround. End
stacks. At the rear is a re-used C17th chamfered door surround with a
debased 4-centred head and a 2-light window with square mullion on each
floor. The barn to the west has a wide entrance with chamfered jambs and
voussoirs. At the far right is a door with plain stone surround, with a
similar window to its left. Above is a pitching hole with plain stone
surround. At the far left is a re-used doorway with chamfered surround
and debased 4-centred head. At the rear is a similar doorway. The west
gable has a coping.
