House, late C17th, altered C18th and C19th. Sandstone rubble with stone slate
roof. 2-cell plan, with 3rd cell added at right. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Windows
to bays one and 2 have plain stone surrounds. Those to bay one are sashed
with glazing bars. Bay 2 has double windows separated by a square mullion,
modern on the ground floor and with glazing bars on the 1st floor, the
right-hand one also sashed. the right-hand bay, beyond a straight joint, has
a window with plain reveals on the 1st floor and a modern door with plain
reveals. The door between bays one and 2 has a moulded surround and a stepped
design on the lintel, which is inscribed 'WIG 1683'. Chimneys on gables, the
left-hand one with a projecting stack, and to right of 2nd bay.
