south

GV II

House, mid C18th, altered. Sandstone rubble with slate roof. 2 storeys, 4
bays. Left-hand bay has modern windows with plain reveals. The 2nd and 3rd
bays have 2-light flush chamfered mullioned windows on the ground floor
and similar windows above with mullions removed. The right-hand bay has a
ground-floor window with plain reveals and a 1st floor window with
chamfered jambs and plain lintel. Door between bays 2 and 3 has
cyma-moulded surround. Door to left of right-hand bay has plain reveals.
Chimneys on left-hand gable, to left of 2nd bay, and to left of right-hand
bay. The front wall of the farm building adjoining to the right is blank.
Its south, gable, wall has a window with long-and-short jambs and a 1st
floor pitching door.
