TQ 93 NE RUCKINGE HAMSTREET ROAD

and projecting
wall

House. Mid C18 and early Cl9. Red and blue chequered brick extended
with red brick with plain tiled roof. Two storeys and attic on ragstone
plinth with dentil and dogtooth eaves cornice to hipped roof with 2
hipped dormers and stacks to rear end at end left. Left hand wing
with brick corbelled eaves cornice to roof. Glazing bar sash on each
floor to left, and 3 wooden casements on 1st floor and 2 glazing bar
sashes on ground floor of right hand C18 block. Door of 6 panels to
centre of right hand block, the middle 2 panels glazed , in Doric porch.
Red brick garden wall projecting from end right, about 5 feet high and
30 yards long, buttressed at regular intervals.
