Farmhouse. Probable C18 core with 1922 and 1927 additions and
alterations (dates on west gable and east rainwater heads
respectively). Squared and coursed rubble with blocked ashlar
dressings, flush rusticated dressed stone quoins and hipped stone
slateroofs, with end ashlar stacks. U-shaped plan with core range
to centre and later rear additions: 1922 to south-west, 1927 to
south-east. Two storeys and attics throughout with 3-light
chamfered mullion fenestration to 1927 addition, small leaded pane
casement fenestration to core range and further scattered chamfered
mullion fenestration to north front of core range; gabled dormers
to all ranges. East front has doorway central to end wall of core
range with flat hood on carved brackets and part-glazed door. Main
entrance now on west, courtyard front through 1922 extension.
