Inn. Early-mid C18. Vitrified brick with red brick dressings to
openings and corners, brick laced flint at side. Slate roof. Five
bays, with lean-to to rear, extended upwards in early C19, and C18
stables joined as rear wing on left. Central 6-panelled door, with
the upper panels glazed. Twelve-paned sashes with gauged brick
lintels. Plat band. Coved timber eaves. Roof hipped with 2
hipped dormers. Stacks on end walls.
Interior: Partitions to original through passage removed, but left
parlour has some oak bolection moulded panelling and raised
pilasters. C20 fireplace.
