Circa C16/17 timber-framed house largely faced in red brick and altered in
C18. Parts of the lower courses of the walls are stone. The east ranges
appears to be the original house. The north end is two storeys and attic and
has steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled end. The south end has been
heightened with hipped roof, two storeys, two large cross mullion/transom win-
dows per floor and brick stringcourse at first floor level. Central brick
chimney stack. Wing to north west is red brick faced and has gable end. In
the angle a hipped roof part with rendered walls. Interior: much altered,
but retains chamfered ceiling beams and joists, the south east room has very
high ceiling.
