Early C19 front to C17/C18 houses. 3 storeys, No 3 painted brick, Nos 4
and 5 chequered brick with red brick dressings. Hipped old tile roof,
wood eaves cornice over earlier brick cornice. 2 windows each, block
sills, recessed Nos 3 and 4, moulded flush wood frames. No 5 all sash,
glazing bars intact to No 5, flat rubbed brick arches. Ground floor
modern shop front to No 3, frame of mid C19 shop fronts to Nos 4 and 5
the latter possibly earlier. No 4 has plain Doric pilasters, frieze
and cornice. No 5 reeded pilasters, frieze and cornice. No 4 has shop
door of 6 fielded panels, rectangular fanlight over. No 5 has recessed
door of 6 fielded panels, wood case of thin strips and brackets up to
main cornice.

Nos 3 to 6 (consec) form a group
