SU 17 SE OGBOURNE ST ANDREW ROCKLEY
7/54 Stables at Rockley Manor
GV II
Stable building, now loose boxes. C18. Timber framed and
weatherboarded on sarsen sills. Thatched roof. Four bays, framing
2 panels high. Tie beam trusses with curved braces to posts and
raking struts to principals. High collar beams and 2 purlins.
Roof half-hipped both ends. Two internal partitions to 2m high,
and walls lined with boarding. Ledged braced and battened doors
and high leaded windows.
