Marked on O.S. map as "Pillar Box Cottages". A pair of cottages,
now house. c1857. Designed by S.S. Teulon for the Crown Estate.
Red brick with hipped slate roofs. Single brick stack. Garden
front has projecting 2 bay centre with 2 pointed arched openings,
that to the left with glazing bar sash, that to right with C20
glazed door. Above 2 narrower glazing bar sashes also with
pointed arched heads. North front has 2 pairs of pointed arched
windows with glazing bars, flanked by single doorways, and small
segment headed glazing bar sashes. Above 2 single similar sashes.
