Cottage, now disused. Late C17 with later additions and alterations.
Timber framed with red brick infill; corrugated iron roof. 2-cell plan.
One storey and attic. Framing: square panels, 3 from cill to wall-
plate, with ground floor of right gable end rebuilt in early C20 yellow
brick. Central doorway [door missing at time of resurvey (February
1986)] with C19 casements in panels of framing to left and right; C19
gabled eaves dormer to rear. Internal red brick end stack to left.
Interior: chamfered spine beam and plain joists to left ground-floor
room, which has inglenook fireplace with segmental wooden lintel. Oak
winder staircase behind stack, brick stepping of which is visible upstairs.
Single-purlin roof in 2 bays with 3 exposed collar and tie beam trusses.
