Offices, former house, C17/18 with earlier fragments. Timber framed and
plastered with hipped 'U' shaped roof form and big stack on E ridge line. 2
storeys with a front elevation of 3 double hung sashes with small panes as 2
square units with central narrow sash window. Ground floor has central narrow
sash window as above, in former front door position and canted, flat topped
bay windows with double sashes and plastered plinth one with cellar vent grill.
2 gabled attic dormers with double hung sashes and small panes. The E flank
wall has early C19 doorcase with steps, fluted Doric half columns, glazed panel
in frieze and good 6 panel door with diamonds in top and long vertical ovals
in centre panels. Also cast iron mid C19 lamp bracket. Interior reveals some
exposed timber framing with halved and bladed scarf joint in top plate and
moulded former tie beam in first floor structure. Inglenook fireplace with
stop chamfered mantel beam.
