Wall, steps and urns at front of Kingston Lisle House (q.v.). Early C19
limestone ashlar front of wall has central entrance flanked by low square piers
surmounted by ball finials with broad anulets; to each side, this low wall is
broken by a stepped ramp and 3 steps; flanked by similar piers. Similar
attached walling close to house connected to steps with similar ramps and piers
to right. Side wall to left has C20 cast-iron rail broken by 3 square piers and
is carried through to a wall flanking the left side of the house: this wall is
surmounted by Grecian urns brought here by Edwin Martin-Atkins c.1825. Included
for group value.
