GV II
House, now Public House. Mid C18, later one-bay extension to left. Uncoursed
limestone rubble, coursed rubble to left bay with brick quoins and dressings.
Gabled old tile roof; brick ridge stacks. 3-unit outshut plan extended to
4-units. One storey and attic; 3-window range. Segmental brick arches over
2-panelled door with tile pediment hood, and C19 three-light casement: left bay,
one storey before eaves raised in mid C20, has similar arches over blocked door
and 3-light casement. Dentilled brick eaves; 3 gabled dormers with 2-light
casements. C18 sash in right gable wall. C20 rear extensions. Interior:
chamfered and stopped beams. First floor not inspected. Included for group
value.
