RCHM 88. House. Built early in C17. 3-storeyed roughcast timber-framed
with large cellars, an overhang at both floors, 3 gables, a Welsh slate roof
and brick stacks. The exposed beams supporting the 1st floor overhang on
the West are mainly original; the casement windows and the doorway are modern.
On the North in the 1st floor is a bracketed projecting bay with a date
1613 and in the 2nd floor an 8-light oriel in a renewed wood frame supported
by 4 original enriched brackets. The South elevation has a modern 4-light
casement window in each floor. Interior. RCHM p 168 a. Includes original
panelling and stone fireplaces.
