Hic iacent Thomas Andrewe Mercator generosus et Margeria uxor eius qui quidem Thomas obijt anno dni millimo CCCC o . . . quor' aiabus deus cui ppriu est Semp misereri et parcere ppicietur amen.

Here lie Thomas Andrewe, merchant, gentleman, and Margery, his wife, which same Thomas died in the year of our Lord 14__ on whose souls may God who is special and ever compassionate and sparing have mercy. Amen.
