GV II


House. c.1700 and later C18. Dressed stone with Welsh slate roof. Old brick
chimneys. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Gothick panelled door in bolection-moulded
surround. 16-pane sash windows. Band at base of castellated parapet. Roof
not visible. Paired brick end stacks with stone cornices and bases.

On left return blank Gothick decoration. On ground floor a pointed arch with
raised surround, and on 1st floor a large quatrefoil with raised surround.
These are flanked by slits. Parapet has 3 cruciform slits.

On right return 3 large stone waterspouts; also single-storey lean-to with
stone slate roof.

2-storey continuous outshut to rear.

Interior has 2-panel doors, shutters and staircase with stick balusters.
