Former Presbyterian Manse, now private house. c.1750, re-roofed and extended
to rear mid C19. Ashlar with Welsh slate roof and brick chimneys. 2 storeys,
5 bays. Square plinth and rusticated quoins. Panelled door in architrave.
Sash windows in raised stone surrounds. Gabled roof with flat coping and
end stacks.
Interior: Drawing room has mid C18 panelling altered slightly 1986. Fielded
panels with full-height panelled pilasters flanking fireplace. Wood cornice.
Elsewhere one 2-panel door and many 6-panel doors, several early C19 fireplaces.
Late C19 staircase.
Attached to left a garden wall c.8 ft. high and 30 ft. long. Set into it a
doorway with alternating-block surround and keystone.
