House. Early C18 and early C19. Squared coursed limestone with thatch and
concrete tile roofs. Originally 2-unit plan, now 3-unit. Single storey with
attic. 3-window range of eyebrow dormers, to attic, with C19 style casements.
2-window range of C20 casements, to ground floor, under early C19 flat stone
arches. Central C20 door has similar head. C20 door under concrete lintel to far
left. Projecting brick and ashlar stacks at ends. One-unit extension to left has
concrete tile roof and C20 roof dormers. Interior: centre room has open
fireplace with bressumer. Ceiling beams. Small room to far left may have been a
workshop. Used for a time as a clothing workshop by Messrs. Wallis and Linnells
of Brigstock.
