Derelict windpump, mid C19, with tarred brick tower and remains of weather-
boarded cap frame. Circular tower of 4 storeys. 2 window openings on ground
and first floor with segmental brick arches, 2 windows on second floor and
one on cap floor with segmental brick arches. Cap frame with sheers, sheer
overlays, head stock, weatherbeam and remains of tail beam. Truck wheels,
centering wheels, curb, track and racks. Remains of fanstage with spur gear
winding. Cast iron windshaft with timber clamp arm brake wheel and remains
of brake collar and arm. Cast iron scoopwheel shaft. Spur gear winding is
rare on windpumps.
