Plain tiled roofs and central first floor section of close studded half timber. Terrace plan form with gabled cross wings at the ends, the left hand being paired. Simple casement lights under Gothic arched openings with brick herringbone spandrels. The inner left hand gable has a circular attic oculus and massive twin ashlar kneelers below the gable bargeboard as does the right hand gable. The close studded section carries twin half dormers on brackets with shaped bargeboards and open work timber finials. Three large composite chimney stacks with one smaller stack to the west. Two of the large stacks have four Tudor chimneys each of shaped bricks linked at their heads with terracotta crockets.

History: built by John and Margaret Bond Cabbell following additions to Cromer Hall. The lodge and cottages were named after John Bond Cabbell's London home, 1 Chesterfield Gardens. The front gardens of Chesterfield Villas are walled in the same fashion as Chesterfield Lodge.
