The houses comprise a two-storey limewashed brick building (with brickwork laid in Flemish-bond) with a Dutch-gabled roof. Across both houses there is a moulded brick band at the first storey height.
22 has a C19 wooden shop front at ground floor, with an arched two-light window and a half-glazed door. The first-floor has a mullion and transom wooden-framed casement window, with three smaller fixed lights above a transom and three two-light casements below. Also present on the first-floor level of 22 is a small lattice leaded window.
24 has an eight-light window at ground floor, and a doorway with a lost pediment. At first floor are another two windows identical to those of 22.
20 to 26 (even) and 30 to 34 (even) King’s Arms Street form a group with 2 Park Lane.

North Walsham is a medieval market town that grew wealthy from the trade of wool and cloth. The town was largely rebuilt following a fire in 1600 but remained a significant market centre into the Industrial Revolution.
22 and 24 King’s Arms Street were built as a single house in the early C18. They appear on the 1842 tithe map
In the C20 the building had commercial and office uses, and in 2024 was in residential use.
