Stenson Lock Cottage celebrated 200 year anniversary in 2010. In former times used both for lock keepers and waterway lengthsmen, but also as a laundry for the working boats on the Trent & Mersey. After many years of disuse the cottage has found a new vigour as a coffee shop providing refreshments to visitors and boaters.
