Three cottages and shop, now house. C17/C18. Regular coursed ironstone rubble.
Steeply pitched thatch roof. 4 brick stacks on stone bases to ridge and ends.
L-plan. Single-storey plus attic. 4-window range. C20 doors, windows and lintels
to ground floor. C20 porch to right. 2 blocked doorways. Attic has two C20
casements and three 3-light casements with wrought iron casement fasteners.
Interior: Stone flag floors, chamfered beams, straight flight with winders.
Roof: Principals with short curved feet, through purlins, tie beams and saddle.
Plank doors. Prominent corner site at the junction of Merrivale's Lane and
Church Street.
