House, now shop and flats. Mid C18, altered late C19. Brick
(painted at the front) with painted stone dressings and a
slate roof.
3 storeys and 4 bays with chamfered quoins and moulded cornice
gutter. The windows to the upper floors are sashed without
glazing bars, with flat brick arches which have projecting
keystones, and with projecting sills. The right-hand bay on
the ground floor is occupied by a yard entrance. Its round
arch, with plain stone surround, keystone, and impost blocks,
is covered by a late C20 signboard. To the left the ground
floor is occupied by a shop front below a late C19 timber
entablature with dentilled cornice. Gable chimneys. The gutter
cornice breaks forwards in the centre of the facade to form a
stone hopperhead.
