House, now premises of the Greater World Sanctuary. Mid C19,
later alterations. Red brick, slate roof. 2 storeys with
basement and attic, 4 bays. Gothic Revival style.
Bay 1 breaks forward slightly and has a pointed arch to
entrance, paired windows to first and gabled attic storeys;
bay 2: 4-pane sash to basement, segmental-arch sash window to
ground floor, ornamental sunk panel above and blind recess to
first floor; bay 3: a full-height segmental bay with 3 windows
to each storey, inserted window with rebuilt gable to attic
storey, conical roof; bay 4: 4-pane sash to basement, blind
panels to ground and first floors. Decorative bands of tiles
and glazed bricks; decorative brick eaves cornice.
