Small house. c1600, altered C19 and C20. Timber-frame, outer
walls rebuilt in coursed rubble stone, stone slate roof. 2
storeys, 2 bays, built against terrace formed by roadway.
Quoins. 1, and 2-light windows with small-pane frame sashes,
stone mullions; end brick stack and corner flue left. Rear
outshut left, exposed post and angle brace rising to wall
plate right. Right return (to road): doorway with plain stone
surround, paired C20 windows to right, replacing C20 shop
window.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
A very rare survival of the pre-industrial building type.
