Formerly known as: Manor house and stables COLTON ROAD
Whitkirk.
Manor house, now 2 houses. Early C17 with early C19 additions.
Stone, faced in roughcast. Stone slate roof with gable ends
with stone coping to verges and kneelers with small obelisk
finials and small cross finials over apex. 2 storeys. 3
widely-spaced windows, 3-light casements, dripmoulds to ground
floor, original mullions replaced by modern frames with leaded
casements. Central stone doorway with moulded 4-centred arch
and moulded ogee hood with cross finial.
INTERIOR: wing to rear containing early C19 staircase.
